Next Chapter Meeting


Our first chapter meeting of the year will start Saturday, September 18 at 11:00 a.m. in Marietta at the Union Meeting House (60 North Waterford Avenue) on the restored Henry Knauf organ. We will hear from two of our scholarship winners, Eric Garner and Katherine Bearinger. The Rev. Timothy Craven will preside over the installation of our newly-elected officers. Lunch will be provided by Columbia Organ Works after which we will tour their facility. We anticipate concluding about 2:00 p.m.

Commitment to Education


The Lancaster AGO encourages individuals who have the drive and ambition to pursue organ study - through scholarships supporting private lessons or for "Pipe Organ Encounter" attendance. Our applications can be downloaded below:

Our annual Summer Arts Recital (photo below) was held Thursday, June 10, 7 p.m. at First Presbyterian Church, marking the completion of our 2009-10 program year. Look for photos of our 2010-11 program year coming soon!



Our Statement of Purpose

The purpose of the American Guild of Organists is to promote the organ in its historic and evolving roles, to encourage excellence in the performance of organ and choral music, and to provide a forum for mutual support, inspiration, and education of Guild members.
